About Coach Lori
Coach Lori is an active and certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor™ teaching the Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program.
Lori grew up around the pool and joined the swim team at age 8. She competed year-round through elementary, middle, high school, and college. Lori was an NCAA Division I swimmer at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed her collegiate swimming career at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Lori Urban now resides with her family in Studio City and runs Lori’s Swim House teaching Red Cross Learn-to-Swim classes and private lessons.
With more than 15 years of swim coach and private instructor experience, Lori has taught more than 1,500 kids from infants to age 12 how to swim!
